Having been a part of so many formidable rock’n’roll bands and currently touring as an acoustic act, I wanted to give this poster a classic look of a road worn star. My goal was to mix 1970’s glam with a more rough-hewn, punk aesthetic to match his wilder years. I also brought in the striped awning of the venue as sort of a platform for Tommy to stand on.
