I was honored to be asked to make a piece for Billy’s 2023 Winter Tour. Billy Strings has made a career off subverting the expectations of traditional bluegrass and not only does his music reflect that, but the art present also breaks some of those norms. With this idea, I wanted to try and illustrate how “far out” Billy takes his live sound.
